All CMP families should plan for school to be closed through May 1st. For additional information, view the news article here: cacmp.org/News/schoolclosure.
Welcome to the Manzanita Class web page. General resources can be found here, but classroom newsletters, permission slips and other specific classroom information is posted to ParentSquare and is only accessible by classroom parents. Please contact the office if you need support accessing your ParentSquare.
Click the 'Manzanita Class Teaching Team' link on the top left of this page for your teacher's contact information.
We made it through another week! I hope each of you experienced it in the best way possible. The highlight of my week was definitely seeing students on Zoom!! I can't wait for this time together again.
If they need to talk to me at anytime, just e-mail me and we can set something up: email@example.com
I hope that if you needed a Chrome Book from the school you filled out the survey that was asked to be completed by last Friday. I reached out to some of you to make sure you saw it and filled it out!
I shared with the kids some of the things to expect after Spring Break. To keep each of you in the loop, each student has been invited to Google Classroom. They will have several invites to different classes. They should expect to be invited to a grade level math and language class, grade level history and science class and we already have a Manzanita class page. If they have any trouble logging in, please reach out to me. As we move to a potentially more long term distance learning situation, these Google Classrooms will help us provide meaningful lessons and extension work for our students. I have already posted some things to our classroom and will continue to do so for students who are looking for more to keep them busy!
We know our students have worked hard on their STEAM projects this past month and we would like to honor their effort and creativity. We ask that students share or email their completed projects to me firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com before Friday, April 3. Please see below for specific details:
We understand it is not how we had initially planned to share your students' amazing work, but I would like to make the most of it. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
I am attaching some links as reminders that there is much out there you can do!
As for other work your child has been working on, please save all completed work in a file for now.
I cannot express how much I appreciate all you are doing at home as a parent. These are challenging times and you are doing an amazing job managing your children, your work, and your lives. Please know I am here 100% to support you in any and all ways. We are truly in this together....
Please keep sharing pictures too!
